The Austrian Economics Meeting Europe (AEME) is an organisation of young European scholars in the Austrian tradition which holds an annual academic conference where participants have an opportunity to listen to presentations of contemporary Austrian research by graduate students and early career researchers, as well as present their own research to others. Usually, the meeting spans three days, and attendees do not only join the conference proper, but also go on sightseeing tours in the historic cities, enjoy lunch and dinner together, and continue their discussions over some drinks in the evenings.
Founded by the European alumni of Mises University 2014, the AEME has already held several conferences. Attendees come from universities all across Europe and from a wide range of academic fields, ranging from economics (of course), law, and history to African studies and archeology. We also had participants from Asia and America at past events.
